iMONASTERY Builds a Bridge Between East and West Through the Monk Life Project
In a world embracing mindfulness and spiritual awakening, the International Forest Monastery Chiang Mai (iMONASTERY), supported by Ms. Phornsan Kamlang-ek, founder of the General Arthit Phornsan Kamlang-ek Foundation, together with Venerable Praputt Buddhipalo, founder of iMONASTERY Chiang Mai, continues to lead remarkable initiatives that connect Western seekers with authentic Buddhist tradition. The Monk Life Project, which began in Thailand, has already ordained more than 230 participants from 23 countries, forming a global community committed to spiritual growth through true monastic experience.
The program offers the opportunity to become ordained as a Buddhist monk for one month, living monastic life from within. Participants immerse themselves in meditation, discipline, simplicity, and deep spiritual training.
